1) Definitions

“Shipper” means the person or entity booking the shipment. “Consignee” means the recipient. “Goods” means the items tendered for carriage.

2) Scope of Services

• Multi-modal transportation (air, ocean, road) and last-mile delivery.
• Ancillary services: pickup, warehousing, customs brokerage, and documentation.
• Tracking and status notifications through our platform.

3) Booking & Documentation

• Shipper certifies all information provided (description, weight, value, HS classification) is true and complete.
• We may refuse, cancel, or re-route shipments where required by law, safety, or operational constraints.

4) Rates, Fees & Payment

• Quotes are based on information provided by the Shipper. Differences may result in re-rating or adjustments.
• Tariffs, surcharges (fuel, security), storage, customs fees, and duties/taxes are chargeable.
• Payment terms: as stated in your quotation or account agreement. Late payments may incur interest and collection costs.

5) Customs, Duties & Compliance

• Shipper is responsible for accurate customs declarations and providing all documents.
• Duties, taxes, penalties, and inspection fees are for the account of Shipper or Consignee.
• We act as agent only when arranging customs clearance, acting on information you supply.

6) Prohibited & Restricted Items

Shipper must not tender dangerous goods, contraband, counterfeit items, perishable or temperature-controlled cargo (unless agreed in writing), cash, precious stones/metals, firearms, or other items restricted by carrier or law.

7) Packaging & Marking

Shipper is responsible for proper packing, labeling, and securing of Goods suitable for the chosen mode of transport and multiple handlings.

8) Transit, Delivery & Attempts

• Transit times are estimates and not guarantees unless expressly stated in writing.
• Delivery may require a signature. Unsuccessful deliveries may be re-attempted or routed to a collection point.
• We may use subcontractors, partner carriers, or alternative routes.

9) Delays & Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, labor actions, carrier disruptions, governmental actions, or network outages.

10) Insurance

Carrier liability limits may be insufficient to cover your cargo value. Shipment insurance is available upon request and must be confirmed in writing before dispatch.

11) Liability & Limits

• Our liability follows applicable conventions, laws, and carrier terms (e.g., Montreal, Hague-Visby, CMR) or our tariff—whichever applies.
• No liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages (e.g., lost profits, business interruption).

12) Claims

• Loss/damage must be noted on delivery and notified promptly.
• Written claims must be submitted within the statutory time limits for the applicable mode and route.
• Goods and packaging must be retained for inspection.

13) Security & Inspection

We, carriers, or authorities may open and inspect any shipment without liability.

14) Export Controls & Sanctions

You represent that the shipment does not violate export control, sanctions, or anti-boycott laws. We may cancel or hold shipments to comply with such laws.

15) Website & Platform Use

• You must not misuse our site, scrape data, or interfere with security.
• Content and trademarks are owned by CargocrafterExpress or its licensors.

16) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend services or terminate access for breaches of these Terms, unlawful activity, or non-payment.

17) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Republic of Korea. Courts located in Republic of Korea shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

18) Changes

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
